The Dominion was a millennia-old interstellar state in the Gamma Quadrant consisting o the Founders, Vorta, and Jem'Hadar joined by the Cardassians, Breen, and other species in the Alpha Quadrant. This highly technologically included group was found and rules by the Founders, a group of Changeling shape-shifters. The desired of the Founders were carried out by the genetically engineered Vorta acting as commanders and diplomats for the Dominion. The Jem'Hadar, forced into drug-induced servitude with Detracel-whtie, acted as the soldiers and workers for the Dominion.
